Michigan Carnage

LR-308 worked like a champ tonight 200 yards headshot on a nice fat doe, in the freezer. 150 grain soft points were very impressive. missed a coyote at 439 yards guess I need to practice some more

So you be the "monkey" eh? What size/class bike? I don't know squat abt side car racing - obviously - but glad you're have a good time with all that you do. Grand? Late in life son? Had mine @ 43. Keep on enjoying life and family.

I got 4 tonight.. Chopped 35 acres of hay (1 field) 14 holes ... Felt like I was getting over run by them haha..

Got this one at 250 with my 223

20160820_120635.jpg Finally after a long dry spell ( working out of state for a month) spotted this little bean eater on the edge of a lane at 171. Been so long away from my rifle it took me 2 shots, can't wait to go back out this evening

20160827_114648-1.jpg Now i see why a lot of you head for Ohio was seeing them all the way here. This one is a city hog right outside my hotel room. Too bad I'm here for work

Ya where I stayed in Belleville Ohio, I had big grassy lawn next to my motel. Everyday at any time of day, there were at least 3 ground hogs in it dailey. Where I'm from that's unheard of so i was tempted to pull out the .17 hmr and go to work. Unfortunately it was within the city limits. I was there to shoot groundhogs so had to wait to get to the fields where it was safe to shoot.

Taking the slow ride home with a load of firewood last night and was able to spot this guy out and harvested Bean field. seems to be some slim pickings around here lately all the equipment in the fields must have them spooked and the farmers are working the ground down as soon as they're done harvesting so it's really hard to spot the Mounds.
