MGM 5mm barrels.....

I spoke with Andy at MGM yesterday about building a Contender barrel in 5mm.He told me that they do in fact have a reamer and will make them.This was in response to the email that I received from Aquila about 5mm being available again.Aquila as well as all other rimfire producers have been playing serious catchup lately to supply 22LR to us.I was assured that the 5mm will again be available and that will be announced later in 2018.I currently shoot a 10” vintage T/C barrel in 5mm
at pds,and think a carbine barrel will go nicely in the pd fields.I have shot a friends Remington 591 and the Centurion ammo works very well on pds.I encourage anyone interested in 5mm to email Aquila and show your support.Thanks guys.

I am hopeful about the rimfire ammo but not holding my breath,luckily I am setup to reload with Craig brass.I am still gonna order an MGM barrel as they shoot well and I’d like to see what some more barrel length would yield compared to my old 10” barrel.
