I know this may not be a good fit on this part of the forum, but I have a problem and I need some good input.

Most of my competing is long range BR, but I do have a couple rifles with aperture sights.

My old eyes have a problem, when I look through the sights, instead of a smooth round opening, I see a couple sharp spikes pointing to the center of the opening. And, there is little change when I change the aperture size. Just like a big piece of dust, but the opening is clean!

Anyone have any input?

Had the same problem prior to cataract surgery. I tried everything to get a piece of trash out of the center of the rear sight that wasn't there.

Haven't had the problem since lens implants.
