MDT Magazine question

I have several MDT magazines for 223 and I want to add bottom metal to my 700 SA that will accept these. What are my options?

Pacific Tool and Gauge makes a good bottom metal for a good price. Best bet is to order from an aftermarket seller as PTG's shipping is pretty slow. It takes them a week or more to get the product out the door. I run the "Stealth" on my 700 and it's great for a non-operator just out having fun. I had an MDT and it took just a bit of sanding to get it to fit but nothing crazy. If you don't have a mill or the skills you may need to have a 'smith cut the inlet for you.

The other option would be sending your stock to CDI and buying their bottom metal. They inlet for free. It's clean work and the CDI stuff works really well with the MDT mags. Again, I'm just a shooter. Not an operator. The CDI stuff works well. It's usually a 3 week turnaround.

Good luck.
