Mcmillan A3, A5, A6 prs

Alex, I have been looking at the Game Warden stock for my next all-around. Now you have me re-thinking! Are the barrel channels basically the same? Any other comparisons between the A6 PRS and the Game Warden.

The Game Warden is a nice stock. It is very different. The butt is slender and the forend is rounder and will take a #4 through a rem varmint contour well. This A6 is a little thicker and would need a minimum or a rem varmint. If your going smaller than a varmint/sendaro I would stay with the GW.

Damn! Its's about time they did this to the A-5 stock. I asked about his many years ago along with many others and was told "NO." Guess they had enough inquiries to look into making the new A-6.

The Game Warden has the same forend as the GPH M40. The Game Scout shares the same forend as the Classic.

I have been shooting an A3 Adjustable stock on my prairie dog gun, and want to build up a new gun with a similar rear stock, but with a 3" wide flat fore end to keep the gun level. I need the slope of the rear stock for elevation change on my rear bag, so I can't use an F class stock. The 6prs stock seems better, but I would like a wider fore end.
I just had a chat with McMillan, they said the fore end of the 6prs was 2.3xx wide, and they didn't have one with a 3" fore end. Anybody know of a stock with a butt end similar to the A3 ( no butt hook) but with a flat 3" fore end?

3" wide with drop in the butt = MBR, or any of the short range br stocks, Bruno, TMBR, and Edge to name a few Mcm makes.
If you like wood Shehane has 2 or 3 3" wide stocks with drop in the butt, I cant remember what he calls them. Or bolt a 3" plate to your A3.

You could add those rails alloy targets sell to make a 3 inch stock a 4

Doubtful. Manners makes good stocks tho.
