I'm curious to know what the typical difference is between a Match and Sammi reamer. I know the necks will be tighter but are there any other differences??? Thanks, Dennis Sawyer

OJust words. You can name your reamer anything you want. There is no standard for a match reamer. I recommend using saami case body dimensions and changing only neck diameter and freebore specs unless you are trying to do something special with a case your very familiar with. There is no benefits to chambers that are tighter than saami, only headaches in my opinion. Always error loose than tight for accuracy and reliability.
Thats up to you. Depends on your needs. I would spec the neck .003"-.004" over a loaded round if you want a no-turn. Freebore depends on bullets, but .160-.180" should work for the 140s.What are you suggesting for free bore and neck dimensions for 6.5 Creedmoor reamer specs? "Match" or not, what are you suggesting works "best"?

If wanting to use those 130-140 bullets, why then the freebore of .188-.200? I'm measuring .292 on a lapua loaded 6.5/47 round. The specs for PTG or JGS for neck diameter on a 6.5 Creedmoor reamer print Is . 295-296 which seems to indicate a no turn neck. Would you agree?Thats up to you. Depends on your needs. Thanks for insight.Yep, neck looks fine. The freebore is kinda long. Hornady bullets have a long bearing surface and thats probably why they went .200". If your thinking 130-140 vlds Id say .160"
