So I've been watching these two for ever and I've always been curious, have they never set a record or tried going for king of two miles or something? Like they do ELR more then anyone else on the net it seems ( at least they document it more then anyone). Idk they seem happy just doing their thing but I've always been curious.

Have watched his videos for years and learned a lot when first starting out, even bought a few of his products(adjustable bag base, etc.)to help support their channel.Just once I'd like to see Mark shoot on a calm day, seems there's always a gale wind blowing. :D

For the life of me, I can't understand that guy. I have to use CC. It doesn't stop me from watching but I have to watch, listen and read instead of just watching and listening. I enjoy his content.

Small problem in a problematic world.

Mark addresses matches in a couple of his videos. To paraphrase him on ELR matches in the US and elsewhere: a) the time slot assigned (the wind in it) is likely the determinative factor in the outcome; b) he sees that sone people are keenly interested in winning, and he is happy when they do; c) at the same time, he would not be happy losing a match if he were to enter; d) he says the time and money involved with attending matches exceed his interest in pursuing them.

He has definitely been the first one to have been there, done that, in many of his distances he's shot. He even still just shoots a 24"x 24" inch target, even out to 5000 yards. And they always shoot in crazy wind down there also, and still has awesome accuracy....

I like his integrity in approaching different topics (ballistics etc.). He always stresses his respect for other opinions and presents what works for him. I also respect his neutrality on competing. He just enjoys shooting. What disturbs me is low audio quality and his accent. I wished every guy on youtube had audio quality like winning in the wind Keith.

They dont let just anybody join the ko2m gang.

the way some people dislike what Erik Cortina does/teaches they would have a field day with Mark(I have several of his products) Mark see's no point of a barrel over 26 inches and he does not weigh charges in tenths, Say's he just weighs to the full grain. I like him.

She's a hell of a shot too!

Problem with being a (lets call it a youtube pro) is, if you compete in a competition on a subject that you are a pro on youtube on and you get smoked you will lose all your credibility. Not saying he or they won't be competitive but in todays social media society things can turn sideways for you very quickly

He's having fun doing what he likes, he has a great place to shoot, I would have to invent a shot like the ones he lets roll here in Ky, I would have shoot through houses and over hills, there is a town every 2 miles here in ky with 12 people and 3 cats and a 3 legged dog

They are doing what they enjoy. He's sharing with the World what he's using and verifying it by having it on video. Yes, I'm sure he could do well at most ELR matches but he's also not surrounded by a huge support team.

He also knows that most matches are not equal and fair across the board. Weather conditions seldom hold steady so each competitor has consistent conditions. He has nothing to prove to anyone, they aren't posting wild claims from behind a keyboard but posting videos showing the good bad and ugly.

Lots to be learned from watching U-tube videos but you have to be able to know what is good info and what is BS. My Son has exchanged a few messages back and forth and he's responded promptly sharing information. Great ambassador for the shooting sports. Lookng forward to seeing more of their videos.
