Mans Best Friend

This is 'My' Molly. She was a real talker and always had a story to tell.
We lost her this past November very suddenly, she was a few weeks shy of 15 but people thought she was very young still.
She loved to have a good dig and buck'n bronco on anything you put on the ground, tarps, grocery bags, cardboard...

Last night I was wondering if he would ever get to hunt another pheasant. He had an intestinal obstruction for a few days and they finally did surgery yesterday expecting to find a kid's toy or a sock or something. But it was nothing he had eaten. His umbilical cord had never dropped off and was strangling his intestines. From the color they were afraid they had not gotten to it in time. He is still not out of the woods but he is home, eating well and looking great. The girls (my g-daughters) are glad to have their Bear back. :)

Tell you what, I'm a tough old SOB but this just about did me in!

I’ve had many dogs but none like this one! My Sugar(bugger) is the most wonderful thing. All she wants, is to be near me. Whatever I’m doing, she want to be there. If I’m in the garage, She’ll lay a the top of the driveway where she can see down the street in both directions. Ppl can walk or run by with kids or dogs and she doesn’t move from her spot. She knows everyone on our street and grew up with all the neighborhood kids. She’s getting old now but still loves to play with my gloves, soccer balls but they don’t last long.
