Mans Best Friend

Fiddler was raised to track wounded deer in the South Texas brush country. She was successful on 61 of 62 deer over the years, her only failure was when hunter didn't call us for two days.

Dead deer or wounded deer, she was aggressive when working a trail. This deer tossed her into the air 8 feet, but she stayed after him and the result is obvious. Luckily a doctor was the hunter and he cleaned and stitched her up.

She was very popular and respected by all the big hunting operations in the area. At work, she made a small fortune in fees and tips during hunting season.

At home, she was a sweetheart. When she passed, the tears were flowing for months, from the whole family.

Impressive and I’m sorry she’s gone

My Lab Rev and previous Dane Tucker doing their daily squirrel thing. Tucker died way too early at the age of 6 from congestive heart failure. Our ashes will be blended at some point.
