Bless you for saving her!View attachment 1632546
This is a Rez puppy that was about 6 months old when she ran up to me in the forest when I was going to check a load at 100 yards. She sat on my foot then laid down and looked up at me. So I put her on the front seat and got in then she crawled over and put her head in my lap and fell asleep. She was skin and bones, covered in ticks with open wounds on her neck. She is now about 1 1/2 years old. Part Lab, Jack Russell and PitBull. No Varmint is safe on our property. She was about 5 miles from the Rez line and was eating anything she could find.
I think most people would have done the same thing or at least taken her to the no kill animal shelter. The animal shelters here are full of dogs from the reservation. The Vet told me they are the most trouble free strong dogs there are. Very rugged and self reliant. A lot of people up here adopt them. Thanks for your kind words.Bless you for saving her!
