If anyone is still out there, I’m alive but struggling. Food is running low. Down to only 459 days worth. My hands are super sanitized and my butt is super clean. Down to 1599 rounds of ammo (dropped 1 round down the heat vent while doing daily inventory). Power still on, but for how long? Missing human interaction but I have my dogs.. for now.. (I'm soaking their food in BBQ sauce in an attempt to marinate them from the inside in case I have to eat them) . I fear dark days ahead. News is all bad. Neighbors have attempted to leap from windows to their death, (or near death... most have single story homes so they are badly bruised). Blew through most Netflix series so may have to rewatch some again..Basic Survival is a definite challenge. I vow to persevere to the end, I am a survivor! Please, if there is life out there, communicate with me to help preserve my sanity

I don't believe you Butch! No way you'd let one get away down the heat vent and not go after it. Also, no way you've blown thru the Netflix. Now 8lbs of h4350, or n135 I'd believe.

We were living in China during the SARS days, one day we were heading to the Sheraton for brunch and there were guards checking people's temperature with those ear instruments as they entered. They were about to test Bona's temperature without changing that dang sleeve, she refused. They got in a big shouting argument and still refused to let that dang guard stick that instrument in her ear without changing the sleeve.

I was watching and laughing my ass off, and finally I asked my Chinese government assigned driver to tell the guard to do what the woman wanted. The guard relented grudgingly.

Going to town today for a vegetable box we ordered from some outfit we always buy from.. Local IGA has everything but TP and hand sanitizer. Local butcher is still butching... or whatever... they have cows and hogs coming in weekly.. Yesterday we went in to buy fresh duck, chicken and some pickles from the local Hutterite community.

My oldest's wife works at Micron. They have infrared sensors at all entrances, with security staff manning them. If you register over 100-degrees(iirc) they send you home.
