This is geting confusing! I have been reading this form and dont know who has started the confusion but reading threw again I think 788kid you have 3 dif 788s all the same bolt fase 22-250 6mm and 308 witch all will work as doners for a 22 br build.Your 22 cal 1 in 9 twist will suet you real good with a 22 br as will any of your 788s thay are all the same just figure out witch one you want to convert! I just finished a 220 swift with a shaleen 1 in 9 that would allso work with any of your 788s the thing is you nead to decide the chambering with a,308) Bolt face
Now you threw in a sav 223 bolt face you can also install this brl on that action with same bolt face but then you are chambering for a 223 or 223AI class round
or change the bolt fase on the sav then have to change the mag as well
I would convert any of the 3 788 you already have to a 22 br and never look back YOU WILL BE HAPPY with a 788 in a 22 br.
any compotent gun smith can do this if he has a reamer.
