You need to push shoulder and neck down 300 PRC brass. I would anneal, thoroughly lube the brass then run it through your 7mm PRC full length sizer if a bushing die maybe remove bushing while pushing shoulder back. Once shoulder is pushed back you can size the neck, you may need to turn the necks possibly on the inside also as some of the original shoulder is now neck in your new brass. If you were going to make your own 7 PRC Brass, how would you do it.
Hornady said no Brass or Ammo until next year.
Hilarious. Huge PR release campaign, sending ammo, reamers, dies, etc to youtubers to do a product showcase... then not have anything available. If you were going to make your own 7 PRC Brass, how would you do it.

Yeah but its been sooo fun watching all the Bros hype it up right..Hilarious. Huge PR release campaign, sending ammo, reamers, dies, etc to youtubers to do a product showcase... then not have anything available.
True, but it's not really any different than a lot of other industries. Look at the car industry and something like the new Ford Raptor R. Ford officially releases it's no longer just and idea but a truck they're actually going to build, a few are built and tested, some articles are written, orders are placed, then everyone sits and waits not having a clue when or if they'll even be able to get the one they ordered. Not exactly apples to apples but similar idea.Hilarious. Huge PR release campaign, sending ammo, reamers, dies, etc to youtubers to do a product showcase... then not have anything available.

Remember 2001 with the short mags? LolHilarious. Huge PR release campaign, sending ammo, reamers, dies, etc to youtubers to do a product showcase... then not have anything available.
Solved, my reamer is available from JGSAnother thing to consider if you're building a 7 PRC is the whole tight chamber clicker issue, it looks like Hornady is repeating the same design issues that plague the other two prcs.
I'd wait to see what sort of sizing issues people are having and chose your reamer accordingly.
Like the 6.5 and 300 PRCs? Maybe you're right but I seriously doubt it. They have solved a long standing issue with every cartridge currently available in SAAMI form. The 6.5 has Lapua, ADG, Hornaday, and even Nosler. The 300 Lapua, ADG, Hornady, and Peterson. The 7 is going nowhere soon. Hornady is the only company who gets we don't want our bullets stuffed half way into the case like 100 years ago. Benchrest shooters and custom gun owners are not the ones driving the market.I believe @DaveTooley played around a bunch with a 7mm version of the 375 Ruger when we were all wildcatting off that case following its debut many years ago. He was dropping the neck from 375 all the way down to 7mm but I don’t think the shoulder was set back very far.
There was also the 7mm LRM that “Gunwerks” was pushing which did have its shoulder set back like the 7mm PRC. But this is all old news. Wildcatters have been there and done that already just like they had with all the other PRC designs. Judging from history, I suspect the 7mm PRC will quickly become obsolete like the other big 7’s, especially if only Hornady is making the brass
I remember reading about someone doing the 7mm version in various threads many years ago. I though it was you for some reason. My apologies. We never went down to 7MM. Case capacity is to big. The 7PRC is just about perfect capacity for a 7MM accuracy round shooting heavies. When we, meaning Hornady and myself headed down the 300 HSM ( Hornady Super Match), 300 /338 AI for the military path they just ran some 375 Ruger brass on down to 30 cal.
