Magnum Primers VS Regular Primers

Loading for AR-15. Is it safe to reload with Magnum primers and if it is do I need to decrease the charge? Using CCI 450 Magnum primers

there shouldnt be a big difference, magnums often can lower your ES but for safetys sake back off a little and work up.
