The Leupold 12x I’ve had in the past, high gloss with A/O scopes, were friction turrets, I’ve had two of them. They were both vintage high gloss blued. I’m guessing that one is too but a quick search on the internet with the product # didn't reveal much and Leupold‘s website doesn’t bring anything up with when entering that product number. Neat scopes either way.

If it had target knobs, then it would be click adjustments. Since it'd not target knobs it is most likely the standard friction coin slot type.

What Frank said. Great scopes for their time. Still running one with M1 turrets. Very nice clicks on the turrets.

I've had those 12X M8's non-target turrets with both friction and coin slot click adjustments. The MC4 coating was on later ones prior to being called the FX series. Give Big Louie a call. -Al
