Leupold M8 36x

I have an older Leupold M8 that belonged to my father, it is an M8 36x that he used for benchrest shooting. I believe the power is actually 24x with a Premier attachment that boosts the power to 36x. It has a 40mm objective, fine crosshairs and a target knob for elevation.

Been thinking on selling it. Anyone have an idea of its worth?

After posing questions about the scope on a few of the benchrest forums I learned this is an M8 24x Leupold that has been bumped to 36x by the late Dick Thomas. Dick was well known in BR circles and did a lot of work on Leupold scopes. Premier scopes bring somewhat of a premium price.

Within a few hours the scope sold for $550 and a benchrest shooter is happy.
