m77 vt 22 ppc range report.

Got to do some shooting with the ruger 22 ppc that i got off gunbroker, I was not expecting this gun to shoot this well without working on in, this gun is not bedded and still has the factory trigger.

This is the best group i got with norma brass, 52 grain sierra matchking, br4 primer and 25.4 grins h322. All other loads i tested went under an inch as well.
5 shots at 100 yards

Great photo and shot !

I grew up in Quebec and rather enjoyed shooting woodchucks.
Try some Speer TNT bullets in that rifle !!

Where did you get those interesting coloured targets ?

I have two of those Ruger VTs, one in 6.5 CM and one in .243, I don't care what the internet says, they're some of the most accurate factory rifles out there. They also have one of the best factory triggers out there; fully adjustable two-stage, who else has that in a factory rifle?

Yea what Wayne said! I have three of them and the 25/06 really shoots light's out! My #1V in 22PPC is also a real screamer.

The targets are thompson true blue targets, I didnt know that these triggers were adjustable, How do i adjust it down?
