No its a very good design.
Just curious why the expense of the m16 extractor seems worthwhile.

Most times its because somebody has compromised the original design, changing boltfaces, or exploded it. Some just think they need something stronger like the stuff badger ordnance has made their name on. A 6lb set of rings and bases has to be better and stronger

I have a set plus a base and bottom metal i took off a guys “tactical” rig and it pretty much took a guns worth of weight off it
