Lyman Ohaus M5 scale

Unless things have changed drastically...say goodbye to your scale until the next presidential election.
Are you speaking from personal experience with Scott ?

Yes I’m familiar with Scott, On the positive side many people have an opposite experience and the product received is outstanding.

Never been a complaint about the work, but rather receiving the scale and money then going silent for months, leaving customer fully pissed off and in the dark.

It does, still could not get it level.
Huh. Put a small bubble level ontop of the scale and then use the left screw leg to level the bubble. THEN set all to zero and see where you are at on the pointer. if low then add some pieces of bird shot to pan to get to zero. ( can use an exacto blade to cut off slivers of lead). Then remove the screw from pan holder, gently remove with exacto and add the lead pellets you put in the pan.
If the beam is high then dump all the lead pellets in the pan and then take out piece by piece with tweezers to get to zero. can cut the last one to get it dead on.
After that, everytime you set up scale try to put it in the same area as when you leveled it and then fine adjust with the screw leg.
