In my experience, any alcohol that is labeled "Denatured" is an unknown mixture. I buy Denatured Alcohol from Home Depot and the closest the store could get from the supplier is that it is a mixture of Ethyl alcohol and methyl alcohol approximately 50-50 but not controlled!
When they start with Ethyl Alcohol, they may throw in any convenient and cheap poisonous solvent such as Methyl alcohol or acetone to denature it.
