Hi Ggmac, Can you identify the types of alcohol that contain acetone? Don't believe I've ever seen it listed on Isopropyl containers. ................ Maybe a chemistry major could speak up. ThanksThe Lyman mirror is the part that gets easily damaged . Don't use any old alcohol to clean it , use approved cleaners . Some alcohol has acetone in it and can damage the coating on the mirror .

Might be thinking of nail polish remover which is for the most part acetone. Can't think of an alcohol/acetone mix though.Hi Ggmac, Can you identify the types of alcohol that contain acetone? LOL Thanks for the answer Ggmac ................. My uncle, Mr. Al Cohol agrees with youOh , it's listed as the 3rd ingredient in CVS ethyl alcohol .
Gosh guys , don't you read the ingredients on everything ? Nope me either , I ruined a new set of glasses with the anti glare coating on it , not once but twice till the optician asked what I was using to clean them with . I thought alcohol was alcohol , well live and learn .
Given the extremely high incidence of chronic liver disease in Russia I am not sure you want to make that statementI bet you Stolychnya doesn't have any acetone in it.
Wrecked 'um...hell...it killed 'um.Don't use it for other than it's intended purpose, like answering certain medical questions.![]()
