Lyman 55 measure

Can anyone tell me about the Lyman 55 measure? Is it any good or are better ones available now. Seen one offered 2nd hand....

If you are always going to set your measure with a scale, it will do a good job. One tip...for smaller cases BR and smaller, close the largest (bottom) slide, and use the other two, set even to each other on their inner ends, to adjust volume. This will give less variation in charge weights.

I have been using a Lyman #55 measure for 50 years. I have tired Redding, and RCBS powder measures but always go back to the old Lyman #55. It is the one I started with and I don't think there is any better one for me.
