Lubes for lead bullets question

I'm trying to find ways to make bullets very slippery so that I have minimal leading. All of my shooting will be under 1600 fps. I don't want to get involved with a lube*sizer.

Bear Creek Bullets uses a (I assume) tumbled-on moly lube. Works quite well; have had zero issues with leading in pistol (and I'm running those faster than I was back when I loaded wet beeswax/alox. Though a different powder, so take it with a grain of salt.) That said, I would assume there is something to how it's applied.

Leading is normally due to one (or both) of 2 things: Gas blowby between the bullet and rifling (can be caused by using undersize bullets or by swaging the bullet down during seating/crimping), or from trying to push the bullet faster than the rifling engagement will handle (which causes the bit grabbing the rifling to strip off and remain in the bore - can be solved by slowing the bullet or a harder lead alloy.)

I assume you're casting your own? You'll benefit from a sizer anyway, so why not get a lube sizer and not add another extra step?
