LR shooters, you need to improve your game.........

He has a chunk of change tied up in that. The lead he is shooting is close to $60.00 per hundred.

1) Gotta' love the ramp on that scope.
2) At the end of one 600 yd F-class/prone match one of the guys got into position with a Walther KK500 .22 match rifle. When everyone looked at him kinda strangely, he said, "Hey. I'm just checking the fit." But I've wondered after that if you could hold paper at 600 with a .22 RF. Would the bullets even penetrate the target at that range?
3) I once assisted some Martin engineers who had built an air gun that fired plugs of ice. It was after the Challenger disaster and they were testing if ice could have punctured the fuel tank.

Don I've seen guys take that many shots with match rifles at 1000 to hit a clay bird! That's still unreal for an air gun. My buddy has one in 22 cal. little on the noisy side but it is accurate.

I have an FX in 25 caliber with a factory built-in moderator that is as close to silent as possible.

On the Air Force site,
there are numerous guys that have moderators on their AF,
and they have said numerous times that the only sound is hammer slap/pellet impact??

Having never played around with any AR except my old 60's Sheridan,
I am not sure what they are talking about.
But I am interested in having the most silent AR for sniping these damn Starlings that are over running the chicken coop etc, one smart bird....

That sound they hear is pretty accurate. What you hear from mine is essentially, pfft. I have the FX Royale 500 in the walnut stock, along with a couple of FWB's.

the fact that you can hear the shot before the impact shows his average velocity is subsonic. His group size is multiple MOA and he just keeps shooting until he gets a lucky shot.

OK kindo fun but I don't think he's gonna make our rifles obsolete.

A friend of mine, sold all of his centerfire rifles due to the crunch of the horders! And went in this direction.. says he couldn't be happier!
