I also run a Rifle Basix SAV-2 and happy with it at about 10 oz.. I thought it was a bitch to install as you keep the factory sear. Could not have done it without watching a YouTube video.
Almost is not good at all when it comes to a triggerOn my SAV-2, almost get zero slam fires at 8.5 Oz. At 6 Oz, forget, I get bolt slam fires too easily. I am using the "red" light spring.
Same here. I highly recommend a PTG bolt body as part of your trigger job. The reworked cocking ramp angles helps make a very light pull possible without slam fires. I do not recommend using a target sear(red trigger) with the Rifle Basix 2 trigger. Stick with a standard sear.4oz. with rifle basics. I own 4.
Top bolt release Rifle Basic II,JARD, -- Bottom Bolt Release JARD Trigger assembly is the only Good 1Folks,
I'm getting pretty spoiled with my BixnAndy trigger on the REM platform! I want to switch triggers out on the Savage. I have a SSS trigger on the Savage (which is considered a great trigger on Savage), but pull weight is still too heavy. I want to go less than 1lb.
What do you guys think the lowest pull weight / dependable trigger for 10/110 Savage platform is on the market right now??
Thanks!
