You would have to break it down by the minute! ;)

No worries on my end,, funny stuff a few posts up

I'm a DIY guy, like a bunch of others,,,,,sometimes I wrap up a project and wonder why the heck I just spent X amount of time on it! Sometimes money too, why buy it when you can spend more time and money on something that's half as good as something you can buy,,,,,only half kidding

I have one of those going on right now and that's the Annealer.....wish I would have never gone down this road and just bought one!

The rest, it drives like a dream, imagine driving a milling machine, same screws it this rest. I've played with the Caldwell and a Sinclair, they have nothing on this one,,,,,but never ran a coaxial though

Fun playing with our toys !
A friend had a 1 piece made. The maker said that the time it took made him understand the cost of these type things.

Yours Looks like a Sinclair. Good rest mechanics for sure. I'm sure it'll be a great tool that's fun to use.
Us shooters that do not have the ability or equipment have to go the commercial route :/

Looks like a Sinclair? Which one?

Yes, a little surprised to see this one at the top. But still works like the day it was made, ball screws are smooth.

Does not see much use anymore though, F-Class is not as prevalent in my area anymore, moved more to the prs style of competition. Still makes it to the range for bench work now and then.

Ya. I do have the diy bug pretty bad. Lol. Folks have asked for drawings. It really needs to be build around a specific ball screw and bearing size. But I’ll post a screen shot of individual plates.

a cnc really fuels a diy bug. Current project. 9EDBBCF8-362C-4CBB-A45A-3EEF06C4CE34.jpeg

I remember the long dark days in Anchorage and Fairbanks. I spent my time building ice racing cars.
The part about long dark days brings to mind my childhood, including trips to the outhouse, where a candle was waiting.

Fortunately when we lived in Fairbanks it was military housing and indoor plumbing. Anchorage was a more modern time and we had 2 inside schiff houses.
Back in the older days my grandparents didn't even have a schiff house, we just went behind the chicken house.

Nowadays kids don’t believe there was life without the internet and cell phones.
