Lord Help Us

I was in Sportsman's Warehouse today, picked up a box laupa 6br brass. I go to check out and the checkout girl ask me before she would ring it up, if I was going to use it for reloading. This I found odd, so I ask her why she was asking me that question. Her responds was management made her ask the question to cut down on returns from buyers that bring it back because it will not fire in their in gun, they don't know the difference between brass and loaded ammo. The gene pool is just a mud hole now.

Look at the bright side at least it was on the shelf. Just my two cents Tommy Mc

Not all that surprised and it isn't anything all that new for sales people to not know what they are selling. I'm reminded of the time I had to correct a gun shop salesman when he told a customer that he didn't have ammunition for his .244 Remington rifle...when there was a shelf of 6mm Remington ammo right behind him.

... as opposed to a water level validation check?

Once was, glue simply warned that toluene fumes'd kill you. These days, they suggest not inhaling deliberately, that being a "thing." Once was, any fool'd know suffocating yourself with a pillow case was dangerous. These days, one has to be warned against doing that. Of course, in America at least, it's been sliding for a very, very long time.

I've long thought the best summary description for the box of a hair dryer would be: "Definitely a 'Hold my beer!' product, here. Darwinist Recipient activation device, for those intent on using while showering or soaking in the tub." Of course, it begs the question what a device is doing in the hands of Americans for purposes of drying when it's a danger to use unless you're already dry. I'll just bet a gaggle o' lawyers is trying to figure how to "milk" that one in a court case.

Got to love the modern world. If nothing else, it sure is interesting. Darwin would be having a field day, in this, um, data-rich research environment.

Nothing new, I think a part of the population has always been that slow. During the 2012 panic, my co-worker asked if I wanted 1000 9mm bullets. When you couldn’t buy any common calibers, he thought he got the greatest deal on earth. I don’t reload pistol ammo, always wondered what he did with them.
