Looking for some answers

I shot F/Class. My problem seems to be my rear bag. After every shot I have to squeeze my bag to get my elevation right. I am using a Protector 13A bag filled with a combination of lead shot and sand in the base and just sand in the ears. Any suggestions as to what I can do to help with this problem. Thanks

pack the rear bag more firmly and lower the front rest -- the result will be to lower the rifle but corret the missalignment

Loose the lead shot, and I'm thinking the problem will go away..
Or just pack it a lot tighter...
The shot is probably settling to the bottom..

Well I'm newer than that, but I thought you couldn't use lead shot. I mention this because I had to 'unload' two bags due to them being filled with lead and not heavy sand. Not trying to stir anything up, just want clarification.

Those are bench rules.

OP-. Sounds like more fill in the base is needed like was mentioned.

Ok, thanks. I hate not knowing stuff.

That's what the forum is for.

OP, we can only guess with this without seeing. You should tap or pound the back of the stock when you set up to settle the rifle in the bag.

I do some times so hard I'm afraid I'll knock my scope out of wack
