looking for Plastic storage boxes for loose bullets

I am looking for a small plastic storage box that I can store loose bullets in, but that can also fit in a small flat rate priority shipping box. The box is roughly 1.5" x 5" x 8"

I am looking for something like the yellow Berger bullet boxes except a little bigger so they will hold 250 rounds and not 100 rounds.

If you know of any vendor that can sell me a handful (5-25) of these, I would appreciate a link tot he web site. I have found some places that have this, but they want a 500 or 1,000 min order (I wished I had that many bullets).

Couple different ones, not sure the first is big enough.

Go to www.uline.com and search for rigid plastic boxes and they have the perfect size you are looking for to fit in a small priority usps box. Send me a pm and I will give you the part number.

Thanks for these links, but $5 each is just too much. If I can find some for $2.50 that would be better.

Ryan, i have two dozen of the UB36 (and those hold 250 bullets perfect), but they dont fit in the small flat rate box.

I want to be able to ship 250 bullets as cheap as possible and spending $5 for the plastic boxwould offset the price of the medium shipping box.

I changed from boxes to bags. I get the Glad heavy duty freezer bags. They're nice thick bags with a good zip lock. The local "commercial" paper supply house also sells zip lock bags in 2X 3 in. 3X4, etcetera. Thin 2 mil and thicker 3 mil.. Just a thought.

Go to the kitchen section of any Bimart, or whatever store is handy and you will find all the plastic containers, in all the sizes you need.

Why not just use the regular box's bullets come in (100 count), you could use more than 1 for the same bullets.

If you go to shooting range near you there would likely be lots of guys/ladies that would be glad to give them to you free! I remember a post here about someone wondering what to do with all he had.

Try posting a question that way for guys that will be at a range you can get to.

The disposable food containers won't hold up to shipping. They just fall completely apart. I've gotten bullets shipped to me before packaged in them.mi guess they are a little to brittle. Looked like an m80 went off in the shipping box

The free Tyvek priority bags in the lobby will hold the weight of thousands of bullets.
Fold the envelope, trim the closure tag and use it as strapping tape.
Repeat.
I've shipped a lot of bullets and Tyvek will retain them and is incapable of cracking under compression.

I pick up 223 range brass all the time. I separate all the commercial head stamps into a container with others that are the same. This leaves a whole bunch of odd balls and military stuff left over. I load it all up and put it in a glad plastic container like Tupperware but its way cheaper and disposable. They have many sizes some would work with your bullets, I use the size about like a shoe box for my bulk reloads. My friends call it a Loxahatchee battle pack. I guess you have to know what Loxahatchee used to be like back in the 80s and before.

Thanks Eric (cncmill). Those were perfect for 250 bullets. I ordered a dozen of them to test them out, and they work perfect. at $2 it's also economical. They fit perfect in a small priority box. Part# 201220
