I've searched without success for any specific load data on this new bullet, even though I know I can use the Hodgdon 107gr load info from their site. Just hoping someone has worked with specifically with this new item.

Can anyone share their experience, or point me in the right direction? Thank you.

George

Well I'm not shooting a Dasher but a BRX, I have been shooting the same load with the 110s I have been shooting with 107s and 105 Hybrids, I am shooting the middle node though. My 105s and 107s are right at 3000 and the 110s are doing 2950, I have a .170 freebore.

I'm using RL 16 w/ the 110 MK jumped .030 CCI450 primers. Velocity is 2886 in a Brux 30"
1x7.5 twist in a Kelby F Class action chambered in 6 Dasher .268 neck.
Shooting a 3/600 today in Fl @ 89 degrees on Silver Mountain Electronic Targets (SMET) I scored 200-8x, 197-11x, and 197-8x. Speed at the target on the first relay averaged 2277 for 20 shots. Group size was 0.8 - .07h x .05w for the first relay 20 shots. Dropped shots (6-9's) were attributed to shots fired during a boil which developed very rapidly prior to equally rapid mirage switching.
Work up from 34 grains using a long drop tube
Trickled slowly.

SB10: I'm still working on it....have had a hiatus while I resolved some barrel problems, and hope to get back to the Sierra 110's soon. Will update.

I went to the range today, and had 20 rounds loaded for testing and came home unsatisfied with the results. They seem not to do well in my rifle, and am going to go back to my 105gr Berger Hybrids. I'll sell the two unopened boxes I have. I know I could do more to try various seating depths etc., but I'm not that unhappy with the Bergers and don't plan to waste more time on the project.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.

i have a BRX , just bought some 110 , you didn't say what load and powder you used

I’ve been loading CCI 450,31.5 gr Varget, getting 2890 out of a 25” barrel. Group well and has a 3-5 SD. Pushed them out to 1004yds at a steel match a couple weeks ago and they were very consistent. 1:8 twist but I’m at 4000’.

Oops just saw this question. Same as my 105 and 107 load, 32.5 grs of Varget. Having to up the load now that there’s 1500 Rds on the rifle to get my velocity back, now 33 grs. Wolf SRM primers.

Trying CPR on this old thread to see if anyone is still shooting this combo with success? Load info would be nice too.
I see nothing wrong with old threads. Majority of new threads are just a duplication of old threads that can be accessed by the....the..what is that thing? Oh! The search function.I tried 110s in 1 in 8, was decent not great. Just received a finished 7 twist which I think will be a better fit. I will post when I put it on. Might be a while, archery season, then deer in Mich, than rifle here in Pa. If I can get them to shoot to my requirements I think the wind advatage will be a good thing. From those who I have spoken about this, no reduction in powder charge from 105 t0 107 is needed. It was not for me either I shot 33.4 in a 6BRX. Another issue I had with the 8 twist I tried them in, it was throated for a different bullet. This time all is set up for the 110s.

What i found is they pressure up with the same load as the 107 but need to be shot from a 7.5 or faster. Then with the speed that a dasher wants to shoot them the 7.5 or faster twist is too fast- kinda like a tail chaser.

I need new barrel anyway so I can pick whatever twist. Kind of too late to back out of them, bought small quantity to test. I’ll see how it goes.
Dusty, why do you say 7.5 is too fast for dasher?

They only shoot good from a 7 twist barrel, they will work good in a Br Imp. 2900-2920 with H4350 and H4895 so they will work in the Dasher but non shot good in a 7.5 or 7.75 barrels except the A tip's..... jim

I had 1/8 dasher stabilize them. Varget charge that ran 103’s in a 7.5 Dasher at 3000, ran the 110 at 2950, no pressure. Shot good groups at distance, about 3/4” at 100yds. Never understood that. 1/7 6 Creed shot 110 SMK the best out of the 3. Good groups near and far. Jumped them around .080“ in that barrel. They definitely provide an advantage in the wind but dope didn’t always mesh throughout the day.

I have a 7.5 Krieger, 7.5 Bartlein and 7.3 Broughton that all stabilize. them quite nicely. And a good friend with a couple 7” PacNors that hold their own very well.
