If anyone is currently using Roy’s bullets I’d like input as to how they are performing, measuring, weighing, etc.

Any and all data would be extremely helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Andy Murtagh

Thanks Bart. I’ll probably do just that. I’d really like to know about their measurements and the speed they like to be driven at out of a 28 or 30” tube. The respective twist as well. 7.5 or 8.

I’d check with Roy, but 8 twist seems to do fine with 105 gr class bullets. Roy’s a pretty meticulous guy. I’d expect his bullets to be the same.

He is selling them and I’ve heard they are downright perfect. Just looking for as much data as possible before giving them a run.

Thanks guys.

I watched Roy shoot a 2" and 4" group at 1,000 with them.
I have his 103's , and 106'6 coming.

Andy, 2850-2890 fps for the 103"s, they have more bearing surface than most bullets and are probably a 13 ogive, if he didn't change. 1-8 twist works, we switched to a .237 groove at the end of last year for my bullets and it showed in to be the right move. Smaller groups and knots.

Ok I'm getting a lot of questions about my dies for some reason ,I
have a couple dies from both Ulrich and Detsch I'm very fortunate all make great bullets the feed back I'm getting is guys are shooting the smallest they've ever shot and easy to tune the 106 is what I'm making right now it shoots for everybody but me lol... I hope this is helpful, any questions call me 410 259 7944 Roy Hunter
