Looking for a gunsmith to rebarrel a Ruger M77 to 22-250 in Indiana area.
Not true.Have I heard that removing the stock barrel from a Ruger 77 is horrible?? jd
I'm glad to hear that -- if that holds for the old tang safety models. I've got two of em that both need a barrel. Urbanrifleman's deals and reviews are great. I'd love to modernize these old war horses. jdNot true.
Not only is it not difficult, I have had Ruger 77's come loose almost as I was putting the wrench on. I started check with a crescent wrench every time I put a 77 into the vice and at least a third were easily removed with that. I never saw one which was hard to remove. This is not true of Number Ones, by the way.Have I heard that removing the stock barrel from a Ruger 77 is horrible?? jd
