Looking for a barrel in stock, want to make sure I have not missed one somewhere

Looking for a 7 mm barrel, 8 twist, 1.35" straight, finish to 30", Krieger or Bartlein

Graf's does not appear to sell barrels
I had looked at both Kreiger and Bartlein, neither had what I am looking for on hand.
Midway does not list either
Grizzly had something kind of close
Optics Planet had a surprising number of barrels but not what I am looking for
Drifters Gear, not what I am looking for
Red Hawk got pretty close

Does he mean 1.35?
That’s usually custom order like my .375 barrel.

Bugholes had a few 31” HV and a straight 1.25’ at 33”

I ordered a barrel from Krieger yesterday. 6 to 8 months. Somewhat attributable to the non-standard diameter.

I still have a post in Marketplace. If one turns up I may still get to shoot a mile this year.

Now to order a reamer.

I stumbled onto a action I really liked, with a stock that was bedded for this action, at a price I could not refuse. LOL

It is a LB/RP/LE. I will use it primarily for a 600 yard Varmint Benchrest match. I have a 30", 1.35 dia 6mm barrel that will be 6 BR AI.

The 7 mm is to scratch an itch. I want to hit a 2 MOA gong at a mile.

Do I really need the ~ 50 fps or whatever I would get from a barrel that is 2" longer? Might not make a discernable differance.

My first two 7mm barrels were 28” and they easily hit at a mile.
Very few cartridges are capable of getting 25fps per inch past 28”.
My 338 edge with 102 grains of useable case capacity doesn’t.
That two inches is more likely to get you 20-25 fps.

I have a 6BRA barrel for that rifle as well!

I saw them. 1.335" would work but they are tapered.

Speedy the BR guy has an interesting take on tapered vs straight barrels.

I thought the bartleins were MTU tapers
I like those and HV for my 7mm and 338.

If you just want to hit the gong… I bet that BRA would do it, and you could save yourself a pile of money.

Yep, just looked it up, it’s been done. On camera. Target was actually less that 1 MOA, a milk jug.
