You didn't mention a bolt carrier group that I see. Maybe I missed it.

https://suparms.com/collections/types?q=Adjustable Gas Block

That particular gas block can be adjusted from the front and does not require getting to a locking screw. I have been using one for years.

Also, I have a pistol and registered SBR. I like the SBR setup with a good collapsible stock heads and heals over the blade on the pistol. But, I've never had any experience with the Maxim Defense. But, if I were going to spend that kind of money I would take a look at Deadfoot Arms. In fact, if it were me, and based on owning both, I would go SBR with a Deadfoot Arms folding stock.

Biggest problem I had just building a 6.5 G mid-length was getting all the parts from just about everywhere.
Hell, as I was gettting this from "here" and that from "there", by the time I had all the components in the carts ready to check out some had gone out of stock in a matter of hours. Back and forth finding alternates...everything's nuts right now. Even my wholesalers are out of everything so I had to pay retail

Before I spent that much money on a pistol stock I’d buy a SB Tactical and send in my SBR stamp.

I also prefer an adjustable gas block. Otherwise parts lost looks good.

I'd skip the maxim brace to be honest. It's an expensive toy that makes your gun short. You're never going to shoot it fully collapsed. Get an SB Tactical and call it a day.
