.300wm 210 grain vld's, 70 grains of RL-22, fully prepped Norma brass,...two coyote's a couple days ago, 15 mph switching winds, three shots, two dead coyotes, 869 yards on #1 and 881 on #2

There's no substitute for cubic inches ;)

Now that's some awesome shooting!
How many minutes at 881yds? 28??
Max,
I don't recall exact, 900 is 20.5 moa, it was about 10 degree angle I want to say 19.3 but I can't remember and I don't have my palm pilot in my hand right now but I do remember I was spot on for elevation I just miss judged the wind by about 1.5 moa I saw impact and had to wait for them to come back out of the brush I whacked #1, approx 45 minutes later I talked # two out at 881, gave another click and he went down :D I have shot this rifle a lot and it is really a great rifle and worth every penny I paid for it, when the 26" hart goes south I have the next barrel off the machine sitting in the closet for replacement along with the reamer.

Sounds like a great setup Wayne. What kinda' optic u running on that rig?
Here's the whole setup, nothing special really except the optics, it just worked out to be a exceptional rifle when it all got put together. H.S precision stock, forgot exact model, painted cammo, 26" Hart, Jewell trigger, Trued Remington action, pt&g spiral bolt, Wyatt's box mag .250 recoil lug, chamber is real tight, throated for 190 Sierra match kings, but the VLD 210's work the best, topped with a 5-25X56 S&B PMII scope, Harris bi-pod, haven't shot much past 1K with it yet but I have a spot on the ranch I can go 1780 so I may stretch it;s legs this fall after deer season.
Wayne.

Oh well if u got a S&B no wonder u can kill them that far out. I hear u don't even have to look through that scope and it will still kill things way out there--HA! Just kiddin'.

Sounds like u got a nice setup there, sir!

Thank you, even someone like me gets lucky once in a while if you build enough of them ;)

00Scot, hi, new guy here, you may think about the 6.5-284. good range of bullet weights and you can get it screaming out there to about 3400fps with the 100 grainers.
i'm considering a build on this caliber, but not sure yet. don't know if this helps any. good luck!
