7mm08 Coyote Bullet

120g Nosler ballistic tips are very, very tough bullets. We have killed a lot of deer with them over the years.

120g V max would be my first choice, and I bet they would blow the whole azz end of of a coyote if your leade was not far enough with them on the run or trot.

Another great choice would be the 110g TNT.

4895ish powders on both of these powders should Rock!

AIman is right...120 is a tougher bullet and I’ve switched to it in my 16” 7-08 because I like exit holes. 140BT I get no exit holes on whitetail...they are hammers on yotes though. Backwards from what I initially bought them for but works great.

Supposedly they share the same jacket and since it’s not pulled as far with the 120’s it’s a little thicker and consequently tougher.

My old BDL Varmint, chopped to 21", trigger turned down, floated in a VLS stock, shot 1/2" groups, twice at 200 yds, using 100, yes 100 gr Hornady HP. That said, the 110 TNT and Vmax would be my top recommendations. Less recoil, better downrange. Nothing heavier, or tougher wanted or needed. Good hunting.
