Long headspace?

Wow, 8 hours for a chamber. As I said, I don't know Mr. Griders, but I do know Al Warner. I have to ask if Mr. Griders knows that you are speaking on his behalf to the world and proclaiming that it takes him 4 times longer to chamber a barrrel than other "top smiths"? Again, I have heard from several sources that Mr. Griders puts out a fine product, but please forgive me for suggesting that you may be somewhat mistaken or possibly leaving out some supporting info.

I don't completely agree with Gordy, but he is a gentleman and easy to visit with. I never asked how long it takes him to chamber a barrel, but I doubt he spends even close to 8 hours.

I too have seen the way Gordy Gritters chambers barrels, and I don't agree with his method. But if it works for him, then great. I also doubt he spends 8 hrs chambering a barrel, if he does, it is an indication (to me) that he is not such an expert in what he does.
