Long gun cases?

What are you guys using for your long barreled F/TR Class rifles?

My current case is 51.5" long inside but my new 30 " barrel wont fit. I need to be 52" inside. it also has to be wide enough. The rifle itself is 7" tall then a set of extra tall Burris insert rings and a Sightron 10-50 and a 20 moa rail. so around another 4 inches. So something in the 52 by 12 inside dimensions would work.

Any recommendations?

INSIDE dimensions (in bold)…

Pelican 1770 Long Case, wheeled but man, are they HEAVY ! 54.58" x 15.58" x 8.63"

Americase 4003 Single Rifle (Extra Long) no wheels ! 54.25" x 9.25" x 3.0"

KKAir, Rathdrum ID ~ 60 inches inside… NLA so eBay, etc.

+1 for bald eagle cases from bullets.com . Shiraz has them on sale several times a year. Picked up 2 and couldn't be happier.

I just double checked. They don't ship international. Too bad, the Bald Eagle is a great case

These are somewhat new so not many people know about them. I'm planning to pick up a couple as soon as some funds become available.

There have been a few reviews of these on other sites. Many compare them to the Pelican 1750, but just a smidge longer. Like you, 2 of my rifles do NOT fit in a Pelican 1750, but will fit in these.

I bought mine at optics planet with coupons and discount for like $60. Tenzeng is the brand name, they still have them, like it a lot seems to be put together fairly well and of decent quality.

I bought one of those from Optics Planet. Its a decent case, great value. Shipping to New Zealand wasnt too bad either. Very happy with that purchase, and the case is as long as you will find

Dusty Stevens,
I just bought a Bald Eagle case but wished I'd seen the Champions Choice first. It looks perfect. Do you have one? If so, what do you think?

I have a Champions Choice case and I'll say it is the best padded case I have seen but the handle straps and backpack straps are pulling out, one has already pulled off and the handle straps are about ready to go as well. The material they use for them are not tightly weaved the stitching stays put but the straps pull out from it if that makes sense!... This is with my 22lb Rifle..... It will hold up to a 51.5" rifle but thats it.

I just ordered the Bald Eagle case, I'm sure it will not be nearly as padded but I'm hoping the straps are much better.

Creedmoor Sports has a great 52" padded rifle case. I have been using one for almost 2 years.

Triad Tactical has what appears to be a nice 52" padded "drag bag" style case. I haven't seen one in person. When you add the back pack straps to it, it is almost double the price of the Creedmoor.

I have been using the Bald Eagles case since they first came out. I now have three of them and have used them hard with no problems. They have a lot of good padding, two large pockets and very good straps and handles.
