Hi
I have a krieger 28 inch 1:9 barrel chambered for 243 AI. I used to shoot 107 Nosler CC's in the original 1:9 Ruger barrel with great success. After chambering, i realised that the jump is shorter than it used to be in the Ruger VT.
Do you think it is an issue seating the longer 107 bullets deeper into the case? The boat tail and bearing surface protrudes below the neck-shoulder junction.. It also has an impact on the powder volume...
Would you recomend lighter, shorter bullets?
Regards
