Loctite on barrel

If you would use my barrel vise, with a rear entry
wrench such as a Holland. Put a healthy breaker
bar on that,and then use an abrupt snap to break
the seal,there would be no problem.
There isnt one, new or old that cant be
taken apart w/o damage to parts. I have done 100s
and havent been defeated. No rosin, leather, or
hydraulic press required. LDS

I have a barrel shank book, according to it
1917 Enfield should be
10 Sq. TPI thread, .800" tenon length, 1.125" major, 1.085" minor, 45° bolt nose and a .410" wide extractor cut
Those are correct. A Good guide, but I fit each barrel to each action. Numbers vary.
