Loctite Hysol Bedding

Ive read a few articles lately about guys using a product called Loctite Hysol epoxy, however I cant find anything on which one there using. As Im sure your all familiar with the many different product codes that come with these products. It would be great if anyone could shed some light on this. Thanks in advance.

We use a lot of Hysol at work and it is a great epoxy but isin't very good for bedding, not even as good as Acra-glas gell, I tried it once. Your much better off with Devcon steel putty. now if you need to stick some stuff together it has a pretty good thin strength but no way I would trust it in a bedding job and it STINKS !!! you don't want to use it in the house

You might want to try Loctite Liquid Steel.

I have been using it for the base bedding and gluing the actions and it is great. Even after heating an action to remove it from the stock, with the bedding getting very hot, it is still 'rock' hard.

It's $33 or so for a 1# kit.

It is thinner after mixing than MarineTex, but far thicker than Bisonite. Devcon seems the thickest after mixing.
