Loading Warner Tool Flat Line bullets

Just received my .308 180 gr. bullets. Would appreciate comments and experience of any one loading Flat Line bullets of any caliber. How far off rifling, etc.? Plan to load single shot in a RUM with a 30 inch barrel, .20 freebore. Thanks
Bill

I'm sure he can but I had hoped to learn from multiple sources. Doesn't seem to be much out there so I'll start from the beginning.

@.200 free bore, you are going to be hanging onto little of the major diameter of the bullet and touch the leade.
.100 to .125 with 1.5 degress leaves a short amount protruding from the neck to pick up the free bore.

You should be fine with jump. Just make sure that a small amount of the .308 enters the free bore for alignment.

Alan Thanks for the response. I expect these bullets to really fly flat with a full case of Retumbo. Will start load development in several weeks and post results. Bill
