Loading supplies coming to local Walmart

I had a few minutes to kill today before an appointment so I ducked into Walmart to check out what was going on. Sure enough, they are carrying a limited supply of RCBS equipment and Hornady, Sierra and Nosler components. It was about a 4 x 6 section of shelving with about 8 inches between shelves. I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish because it was a weird mishmash of components that it seems would be of little demand.

Very weird . A feeble attempt to regain the 2nd amendment dollar?

My local Walmart is run by a left wing guy - they got rid of pretty much everything years ago. No more firearms, pretty much no ammo, even got rid of the counter they had in the past. Nah, I am done with that company and rather buy at a local privately owned gun shop, even if it is for a few bucks more.

that sounds just like what they got at the one here. it is kind of strange.

the one 30 miles south of me i havent been to in years- got rid of all the guns long ago to.— prob same reason—. funny its in a conservative area and i was surprised that happened.

i dont know that they got the whole shooting world talking. they could be doing it for many different reasons though

Ok I exaggerated, not the whole community but enough for them to justify a minor product change :D

I certainly could be wrong but having worked in retail for a spell this sort of thing is standard operating procedure. The business looks very different from behind the scenes than it does for the customers.

I stopped by a WM about 10 miles from the house yesterday on my way home from the range  , and noticed some RCBS dies, a few boxes of bullets, and some Primers (6.5's and ??) for $90/brick, a Rock Chucker or 2, powder drop, . Was pleasantly surprised.

New area in the local Walmart looks remarkably similar. Must be a somewhat 'standardized' lay-out.
Heard a few rumors years ago that firearms manufacturers sent inferior products to Walmart.
I suppose now the reloading components will be inferior products.
I'm no big fan of Walmart.
I'm also no big fan of unfounded rumor.

Could be different now but I was told about 10 years ago by the local manager it was up to the store managers discretion.

Maybe it’s as simple as they have saturated the market with CHINA insulated drink cups and now they have to try to sell something else to get the male dollar.
