You’re absolutely right. They make more profit in a day in produce than a year of reloading sales.

My guess is their strategy is to get you in the store for reloading supplies hoping you'll buy something else too.

corporate greed did that plain and simple

I retired from a large, union chemical plant. We were told by our plant manager more than once over the years that our wages were a small portion of the operating costs.

I got curious and looked at the online shopping section, they have 11 pages of reloading gear. I think that purchases can be shipped free to the local store, for pick up or shipped to your door. Look and see what you think. we have been scammed by ammo makers for several years. Maybe this will help keep them honest.
