Loading bench must have handy gadgets

Pocket MINI flash light so you can see when you're looking for the stuff you've dropped. And an "extra" pair of cheaters if you use them.
You'll put them on, walk out of the loading area with them on, put them down and the next time you need them.... Where are my cheaters? :oops: ;)
Safety glasses with cheaters built in!

A rare earth magnet from a hard drive glued to my press in some out of the way place, for holding the Allen wrenches that I use to adjust dies and locking collars with. Actually rare earth magnets all over the shop as far as that goes. Conversely, the winding from a 110 volt solenoid connected to a cheater cord, to use as a degausser AKA de-magnetizer for tweezers, dental picks, etc.

Another source of for the uber strong magnets are found on the base of Sonicare toothbrush heads. These can be popped off, are small, but with tremendous power and are great for holding small things as Hoot notes in his post above. I also use them to hold targets that I have shot with groups I am proud of by sticking them to my Craftsman tool cabinet. And I have a couple of them in the little tray on the top off my RCBS trim mate center to hold stop collars, paperclips, extra neck cleaning brushes, etc.

I just put one in the trash this morning, going to retrieve it and grab the 2 magnets. Thanks.

Powder hopper carousel;

I've shown this one before but,it is the ticket for space savings. The round plate is an aluminum orphan sanding disc....too small for any practical use in our shop.

Punched 7/8" holes so that the lip in the casting on the bttm,captures the individual lower 7/8 nuts. Hand tighten top nuts and it's done.

Center nut self tightens by turning plate. Only rarely are any wrenches necessary.
