Awhile back I had read a post about working up a load with one shot of each load charge and shooting those different single loaded rounds at the same bullseye at 300 yds, while watching for the bullet impacts to stop rising upward and to start grouping. Did I read this concept somewhere or did I fall out of bed on my head...?
If it's real...then do you know where I read it?
I have two new builds that I have to work up loads for, and want to make it come together the quickest and most accurate way possible. If there's a better way.... then where is that thread...?
I have a...
Savage 22-243 AI,
27" Brux 8 twist, Remington Varmint contour barrel,
Lapua Brass,
80gr Amax,
and a ...
Savage 20-250AI,
27" PacNor Palma 8 twist barrel,
Lapua Brass,
55 gr Berger bullets
My WHOLE PURPOSE for having these two rifles built is for Long Range Coyotes.
If anyone has any links to a good thread, please let me know...thanks...Dan
