With these uncharted waters of components scarceness, one needs to consider all options, one of those is swapping to brass with small primer pockets. Currently, 223 Rem is the only thing I load with small primers and and thus my supply of small primers is far better than large.
I understand the principles in why small primers are used in some of these match loadings, but my question is, are large rifle recipes somewhat compatible if swapping down primer size, or does one need to start from scratch?
