Load advice for 6x47 Lapua needed

I've been running a Beanland rig for a while and tested both H4350 and Varget. For this rifle, Varget was the clear winner. I'm loading Berger 105 Hybrids over 35.8gr of Varget, .020 jump and getting 3065 fps.

I'm running 39.5g of imr4451 under 105 hybrid's with standard CCI primers. I'm moving to HBN coating also. It's looking promising.

Before I saw this reply I was thinking 4451 might work very well, I would not try H4831sc, too slow. RE16 might work very good as well. In my 6 creed 41grs 4451 has the same speeds as 41.5grs H4350, so it seems like a bit faster powder, RE16 might be kinda sorta just like 4451 more or less, course, H4350 should work if you can find it.

Paul, Varget works well in my 6x47 Lapua. 37gr, 105 Hybrid, CCI BR4. I started at 35gr and worked up to 37.

Guys, Thanks for the info!!!!!! Picked up my 6x47 from the gunsmith yesterday. Scope base in the mail today, so, I guess I'll be breaking -in a new barrel, & load testing this baby!!!!! From myself, thanks to everyone for all your input!! Boltfluter, thanks for starting this thread!!!!!!!! Lots of great info here!!!!! I'm starting low with Berger 105's & H-4350. Thanks again!!!!! For the longest time I used Reloader 17 and it did well. Good velocity. 39 grains of it gave me 3970fps with a 105 Berger hybrid. ......... snip...............

Either your RL 17 has a lot more poop then mine, or you made a typo and meant to say 2970fps.

Yep it was a typo. 2970 is the right number. Thanks Mozella for proof reading it. I sure don't want to put out "fake news".
