6x47 Lapua load data 95 bergers

I am looking for advice on load recommendations for the 95 gr VLD bergers in my 6x47 Lapua hunting rifle. I have shot my old load of 39.5 gr. Of H4350 with 105 hybrids out of this gun and did not get the same results as my first. Both barrels are 8 twist Bartleins, and I’m looking o get a little more speed to hunt with the 95s. Anyone use them??

I have been hunting with this combination for several years. I use 40.5 grains H4350. Not a super hot load, extremely accurate, kills everything I shove it through. I think my barrel may be a 9 twist, its been a few years since I built it. 4 groove Krieger BAT SV. I get slight instability symptoms with the 105s.

Thanks. I’m hoping it’s a good combo, I was gonna start around 39 grains of H4350 and work up a little bit. I’m assuming there’s a decent amount of pelt damage with the 95s. I’m not very worried about the pelts.

When I did my first 6X47L I tried 90 Gr Ballistic Tips and 105 Amax bullets plus the Bergers. I was able to get them all to shoot, just had the best groups with the Bergers. I get best groups with seating depth just about touching the lands and also jumped about .030. I haven't shot any varmints, just deer and one bear.

I did, but the amount of jump that worked best was different with 2 different barrels. about .030 with my current Krieger and about .055 with an earlier Shilen. I followed the seating depth method from the Berger website. My results are about the same with the jumping and touching seating depths with this barrel; my first barrel definitely preferred the jumped.

I shoot these in a 6mm Swiss Match case which is very very close to the 6X47 Case. I found that my 105 load also worked extremely well with the 95gr bullets as well. I believe you will find that the 95's load will be real close to your 105's maybe just a little more but not much more.
Great little bullet. Good luck.
( 95VLD in my 243 Ackley will Rip a Coyote almost in half if you hit them high or in the shoulder. 3400fps)

Thanks for the help guys, I loaded a few rounds to try, 39.5 and 40 gr. I’ll tweak it at the range when I’m able to get out after surgery. Hopefully one of them will shoot.
