Little help with Newby Questions South Bend

I purchased a Lathe back in 2011 and have a few parts I just figured out I need help with letting me know the uses of these. First is a ring and a type of tapered collet it has nothing in the drawers that fit inside this. I purchased from a widow and am sure I left many things there that may have gone with the lathe. This is a South Bend.

This is another MT3 that fits the spindle bore like a glove. It is different as it has to be knocked out from the starboard side to remove it.

Next are several more pieces I have never used and know nothing about, with exception of the jaws. Lathe came with 3 and 4 jaw and I have never swapped out the jaws or seen if they even fit my chuck.

image.jpeg The bottom three are expanders to put on a tapered mandrel. The bottom one is a cross slide stop. It can be used to set a zero for threading for such.

The first looks like a 5C collet holder. There should be a hollow drawbar that threads onto the collet drawing it into the chuck through the headstock from the rear.

The next is a spindle reducing sleeve and is used to hold a MT3 dead center if you wish to turn between centers. Actually the most accurate center is the one turned in the lathe and I have never used any of mine. They do make a nice conversation piece.

The dovetail thing is a carriage stop to use when threading. It fits on the cross slide dovetail and clamps down to retract the cross slide.

The change jaws should be checked to see if they fit your three jaw chucks. They are usually the first thing to loose. They are very useful when gripping large work that is too big to chuck with the outside jaws.

The other things are lathe mandrel sleeves used to grip work from the inside when slipped over a lathe mandrel.
